The terms and conditions that apply when you use this website or book a service.
These Terms of Service apply to services booked through the website ningmakeupstudio.com. By submitting the contact form to book a service, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and the Cancellation & Deposit Policy.
Ning Xue Makeup Studio is the sole proprietorship of Ning Xue, a makeup artist based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Services include: bridal makeup, everyday makeup, special occasion makeup, professional and brand projects, makeup lessons, as well as website development services under the name Digital Beauty Solutions.
Ning Xue is a makeup artist, not a professional hairstylist. Services are limited to makeup; hair styling is not performed, except for finishing touches included as part of the overall look. If a hairstylist is required for an event, the client must arrange this separately.
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without prior notice. The price quoted at the time of booking and confirmed by deposit remains fixed for that booking.
A deposit of 50% of the service cost is required to confirm a booking. Cancellation and deposit refund terms are set out in a separate document — the Cancellation & Deposit Policy.
Payment (deposit and final balance) is accepted in cash at the in-person appointment or via E-Transfer. The website does not collect or process credit card information.
The following terms apply to website development services:
Services to clients under the age of 18 are provided only with the prior consent of a parent or legal guardian.
All photographs, text, and content on the website ningmakeupstudio.com, including portfolio photographs, belong to Ning Xue Makeup Studio unless otherwise stated. Copying, reproducing, or using these materials without written permission is prohibited.
If a client leaves a review on the website, they grant Ning Xue Makeup Studio the right to publish that review on the website and in promotional materials for the services. Reviews must not contain offensive statements, false information, or infringe on the rights of third parties.
The website may contain links to third-party resources (for example, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google Maps, Google, Gmail, WhatsApp, WeChat, and others). Ning Xue Makeup Studio is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of these third-party sites.
Ning Xue Makeup Studio takes reasonable measures to ensure the quality of services, but does not guarantee that the result of a service will fully meet the client's expectations, as the result depends on individual characteristics, preferences, and the conditions under which the event takes place.
The client must inform Ning Xue in advance of any known allergies, heightened skin sensitivity, or other medical contraindications. Ning Xue Makeup Studio is not responsible for allergic reactions or other consequences arising from the client's failure to provide such information in advance.
Ning Xue Makeup Studio is not responsible for the inability to provide a service or for delays caused by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the service provider (including, but not limited to, weather conditions, traffic accidents, illness, or other force majeure circumstances).
Ning Xue Makeup Studio is not liable for indirect damages arising in connection with the use of the website or services, except where such liability is expressly required under Canadian law. In any case, the total liability of Ning Xue Makeup Studio for any claims related to the service does not exceed the amount actually paid by the client for that service.
Ning Xue Makeup Studio reserves the right to change the content of the website, prices, and terms of service provision without prior notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba, Canada.
We may periodically update these Terms of Service. The date of the last update is noted at the end of this document.
